Numbing my skin
The freezing cold rain
pouring down on me
Like knives are cutting my arms
But it's not as painful
As the numbness of my heart
The rain helps
To drain away my tears
And to let go of my pain
The coldness from outside
Helps set me free
From the Hate inside of me
The storm out there
Takes the real me away
And provides a better reality
